Privacy Policy

This website has no accounts, no logins, no shopping cart and no contact-form database. Nothing you type into the enquiry form on the contact page is sent to or stored on this website — the form only assembles a WhatsApp message that you send yourself, from your own device.

The only optional tracking on this site is Google Analytics, and it is switched off until you accept it.

I only hold what you choose to send me. If you contact me by WhatsApp or phone, I keep that conversation and the details in it — your name, business, phone number and what you need — so that I can quote and do the work.

If you become a client, I also keep the project information needed to run the job: scope, invoices, domain and hosting details, and the content you supply for your website.

To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, deliver the work, and invoice you. That is all. I do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for marketing, and I do not run a mailing list.

This site needs no cookies to function. Google Analytics is loaded with analytics storage denied by default, which means no analytics cookies are written and no page views are measured until you press Accept in the cookie notice.

If you accept, Google Analytics sets its own cookies (typically _ga and _ga_*) so that repeat visits can be counted as one visitor. It tells me which pages get read and roughly where visitors are in the world. It does not tell me who you are.

If you reject, or change your mind and reject later, any analytics cookies already set for this site are deleted and nothing further is measured. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage under kc-cookie-consent so you are not asked on every visit.

Accept and Reject control Google Analytics on this site. Rejecting stops Google Analytics and deletes any analytics cookies it set; it does not switch off the basic hosting analytics described below, which the hosting platform injects and this website cannot disable.

When you use a WhatsApp link on this site, your message is handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy terms — the same as if you had messaged the number yourself. This website does not see or copy the message.

This website is hosted by a third-party hosting provider that, like all web hosts, processes standard server request information such as IP address and browser user agent in order to serve pages and guard against abuse.

The hosting platform also injects its own lightweight analytics script into pages it serves. It is added by the host, not by this website's code, so it cannot be disabled or consent-gated from here. It processes a short-lived session identifier along with basic page-hit information such as the page visited, the browser or user agent, and the referring page. I have no control over that script and do not use it to identify you.

Fonts are served by Google Fonts, optional analytics by Google, and basic hosting analytics by the hosting platform. Those are the third parties this website loads.

Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted. Client project and invoicing records are kept for five years, as South African tax record-keeping requires.

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) you may ask what personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Send that request by WhatsApp or phone using the details below and I will act on it within a reasonable period.

If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
